The following pages have been extremely useful and/or interesting to me in my work and leisure and I'd like to recommend them here...
My wife's website:

Gabrielle White
My wife Gabrielle is also a graphic designer and Team Leader. She has a vast amount of quality experience in eLearning, especially for major Telecoms like Ericsonn, Lucent Technologies, Motorolla and has also created Telecommunications courseware for The European Space Agency.

All via Macromedia Flash & Authorware.

She's the best - what can I say? Such an organised, dependable & intelligent person. Good lookin' too.

Visit her beautiful John Ruskin inspired site

art history:
Artwatch International
This organisation is headed by Prof. James H. Beck a highly controversial figure. He has spoken out against high and low profile Art restoration projects internationally especially in Italy, the Renaissance being his area of expertise. He was particularly aghast at the work on the Sistine Chapel Frescoes, Ammanati Fountain [Florence], Baptism by Verrochio [Feat. Leonardo] and the Last Supper in Milan to name a very few. here

Orazio's Art Images On the Web
My generous Italian friend in Brazil: Orazio Centaro is working very hard to bring the work of the great artists to the Web [inbetween helping me with my Italian]. He already has a couple of thousand pages of images and appraisals; from Cimabue to Cezanne and on... A great visual resource! here
artists:

Lane smith & John Scieszka
This is a really enjoyable site to visit. The people who brought us the fairy tale book: ' The Stinky Cheese Man - and other fairly stupid tales ' John Scieszka and Illustrator Lane Smith. here

architechture:

Archeire
A great Architecture site by Paul Clerkin. Primarily focusing on Irish architecture and with an interesting discussion forum. Useful and beautifully designed. here
arts:

Arts & Leisure
Not a brilliant site from an arts point of view by any means - but a fabulous looking one! here

design:

HTML Writers Guild
A very useful resource for Web people. here

musicians' resources:
Vintage Guitar On - Line
The discussion Forum on this is Fantastic. A great group of people! Any queries at all about your instrument - " Help! My 1920's arch-top guitar is shrinkink and cracking from low relative humidity! " Before you know it - experts from around the globe are writing back to help. here
Frets
Another excellent site from a purely informative point of view. Frank Ford is an EXPERT in instrument maintenance. His pages are simple but informative - his digital photos very slow to load but incredibly enlightening. He's also sems like a thoroughly nice guy. here
Italia:
Italy Tour
I love Italy and especially like to visit this site. It has Venezia, Firenze, Roma... ahh.
Wonderful! It's dual-lingual apparently but I prefer to try the translation myself. here
